Dan Ingalls <Dan at SqueakLand.org> is claimed by the authorities to have written:

> As soon as I've put out the harvesters' selections for 3.2 (right after the harvested input for 3.3), and after a modicum of testing. I'm taking a long weekend, so I'll *try* to get these ready for test before then. I would say we could officially freeze 3.2 around the end of next week.
There is still some wobble around the vm construction area; with luck it
will be stabilised in the next day or so. After that, the code that
is currently being schlepped around needs to be made into the usual
InterpreterSupport class methods, since this release was not intended to
move to VMMaker.
