Please ignore those numbers...

The 101_506_740 bytecodes/sec; 3_490_879 sends/sec was for my desktop 
machine, an AMD Duron 1200. Probably much faster than your ARM 
machines.

The numbers you want to look at are from my 131 Mhz MIPS 4xxx:
0 tinyBenchmarks => 3389830 bytecodes/sec; 90541 sends/sec

So your machine is about 4x as fast as mine.
