Sound out should be working.  At least it was working 2 weeks ago when I 
demoed CocoaSqueak at the Wocoa-Meeting here in Berlin.  Once I turned 
the sound-preferences on...

I haven't actually looked at Sound-In yet, partly because I have neither 
a need nor the hardware for it, partly because CoreAudio has been a 
pretty dynamic API in the past.

I'll see what I can do.
