People who are on a tight budget can go to the hostel that is on Alaskan
Way near the waterfront. Alternatively, I think a studio apartment at the
house I live in is pretty cheap per night (25$ I think?), but it's a
non-trivial (ie a couple of miles) to downtown from here.
