[FIX] (was [BUG?][QUESTION] Browser behavior change between Squeak 2.x a nd 3.x ???)

I thought Torge's fix here was useful enough to warrant a [FIX] tag, so 
we'd remember to pick it up for 3.5alpha (if not 3.4).  Assuming a 
fancier fix isn't submitted in the meantime.
