We haven't done much testing yet. It seems to handle all right a ping 
flood ('ping -f hostname') without loosing any packet.
Some years ago TCP/IP over 10 Mbits ethernet ran in processors 100 times 
slower than what we have today, so I believe it will do all right at 
that speed. But I doubt it will be able to handle 100 Mbits ethernet, 
not to mention 1 GB.

BTW, I just got my first ARM! Paul McDonough generously lend me an iPAQ 
to play with. Two years ago I put linux and Squeak on that nifty thing, 
but porting SqueakNOS to it is a whole different deal. I'll start 
playing with it soon.
