thanks all for your feedback. Here what we will do: we (berne people 
Alex Gabriela and I)
will continue to scan this book. (the next one is the one of dan Shafer 
and I'm negociating with addison to get the
right to have A little Smalltalk (they are ok but giving overly 
restrictive permission).).
we hope to have the complete book ready for tuesday or wednesday.

Then I would like that one of you run its hordes of scripts to produce 
a pdf. I do not have the time to experiment
there. Too much stuff to do.
