Hi, I've put 3.2.8b9 into the posting stream, should be there in a day  
or so.
It fixes a compiler performance problem I introduced in 3.2.8b8, so  
toss that version and get b9, you'll be much happier.

I've also build and posted to Anthony Hannan <ajh18 at cornell.edu> a  
4.0.22b1 macintosh VM for
os-x and os 7.5.5-9.x built using his latest change sets with my global  
structure modifications. That should
be placed somewhere once Anthony reviews it.
