If you completely remove the standard fonts and use Accufonts, there 
are still a number of lingering references to the Comic font that 
will have to be dealt with.

I have a change set that I'm working on that changes absolute 
references to this font to a call to a systemwide method.

Since Comic isn't one of the Apple fonts, another alternative might be 
to just leave it in the image.
