Anthony Hannan <ajh18 at cornell.edu> has a wish list for "a new language
evolved from Squeak". He proposes to call it Squik.

I have another suggestion for his new language's name.

Observation 1: Rob Pike had a language called Squeak.
I'm not sure, but I _think_ his use of that name preceded
the use of Squeak for a Smalltalk dialect.

Observation 2: he developed a new language to replace (his) Squeak.
It's describe in Bell Labs report 143, and the implementation was
(in my view, inadequately) described in a paper in Software: Practice
and Experience. He called the new language "Newsqueak".

So, why not call it Newsqueak?
