macintosh VM file naming standards

I gave up trying to make the RiscOS vm/low-level-image cope with the
needs of the Acorn filename rules a long time ago. It's not that they're
bad rules or even unimplementable but they are so very different to most
others. That made it implausible to write code that would cope with
those differences in a manner that the rest of you would live with and
so I decided to adopt 'as close as possible to unix' rules. It's not
perfect butit does work tolerably well. As I think I've suggested
before, adopting URL rules wouldn't be a bad idea since many many people
think of the browser as the computer these days and are very used to
seeing URL format names.
