Excellent question in fact. Our paper has been accepted to Ecoop :)

I played with traits at the metaclass level and nathanael fixed some 
small bugs I found.
Our plans were that nathanael should release a version before the end 
of this week.
This is weeks that I'm pushing nathanael to release a version even if 
it contains some small
bugs. So say it to nathanael :)

Nathanael what is your deadline: sunday?

What I can tell you is that the more I program with them, the more I 
like them.
What I can also tell you is that traits are really a fundamental 
structure in a bigger structure.
We could have interfaces, Mirror, support for real MOP, true 
delegation....
