I've reviewed Joshua's fix and included it in the latest release of the
BFAV ( v. 1.25 ), now on SqueakMap. Thanks, Joshua! 

BFAV users must upgrade to use this patch, if they haven't already;
after installing the latest version of SqueakMap, all BFAV windows
should be closed and "Smalltalk garbageCollect" should be executed. 
Then open a fresh BFAV window and the view-attachments option should be
back in all its glory.
