Turn on the Preference under "halos" called "propertySheetFromHalo". 
Now you will see when you click on the Color halo (the purple one at 
the lower right) a dialog with a "Text" button. Press that.

Or you could hold down the shift key when you click the Color halo if 
you don't want to change the Preference.
