Regarding testing, I can contribute that I regularly run Squeak with the
ANSI patches loaded and have yet to notice a single problem because of
them.  I haven't done any testing that's more strenuous, however.

I haven't reviewed them thoroughly, but I did skim them once or twice.
How did you get the list of 11 methods?
