[SM somewhat technical description]
A newbie doesn't really care what's not implemented yet, or that it
supposed to be a master or none of that stuff (however precious it may
seem to SM originators... :-)

If you have downloaded Squeak version 3.4, under the "open" menu you can
find the "Package loader". This tool allows you to browse and install
with a couple of clicks over a hundred Squeak packages, including better
development tools, alternative looks, new fonts... Since it gets it's
information from the web-based SqueakMap catalog, it's always being
updated with new stuff. The url above points to the web site of the
catalog which is used for registering and updating package registrations
as well as looking at the catalog with any browser.
