I started with the 3.4final image, then loaded SARInstaller-for3.4.  That gave me a 10.2Mb image.

I opened a FileList and filed-in my local copies of the removal scripts listed below ( before loading the SUnit uninstall script, I loaded the Tests-removal script ).  Then I ran the following:

Smalltalk discardIRC.
Smalltalk discardSpeech.
Smalltalk discardSoundSynthesis.
Smalltalk discardSoundAndSpeech.
Smalltalk discardOddsAndEnds.
Smalltalk discardFlash.
Smalltalk discardTrueType.
Smalltalk discardFFI.
Smalltalk garbageCollect.

That gave me a "Shrinkee" image just under 7Mb.

There are removal scripts for Balloon3D, Celeste, Games, PWS, SUnit and VM Generation registered on SqueakMap.  Install scripts for Balloon3D, Celeste, Games, PWS and SUnit are also registered on SqueakMap.

Are there any other in-the-3.4-image packages yearning to breathe free, that people have been working on?  If so, please edit the "Modularizing the Squeak Image" page ( http://swiki.squeakfoundation.org/squeakfoundation/77 ).
