oo hardware (was: Why so few garage processors?)

Who me?  I just read the hype in the industry rags.  All I know about 
hardware is Apple makes the coolest boxes and they run unix now.  If I 
get too much more dependent on squeak, I'm apt to not care about that 
either and switch to linux running squeak as *the* UI. ;-)
