It's a cycle that normally starts with 'write' (though not of code but
of reasons) and ends with 'publish' but ought to go via 'review' at
least twice. A big advantage of write-a-little-explanation followed by a
review is that sometimes you can completely avoid the write-the-big-bit
when your review concludes it isn't needed.
