hmm. i tried to build from the port to see if i could reproduce your
problem. the port fails but for a different reason. i shall have to play
around with it and see if i can figure it out.
however pkg_add -r squeak does work. it installs 3.2

are your modules current? i am fairly ignorant about klds. perhaps
freebsd-questions would be a good place to post this question?
