"Laws of Form" was one of the "Whole Earth Catalog" recommendations 
and was a favorite book at PARC. Dick Shoup was particularly taken 
with Brown's approach, and I think he did have him over a few times.

BTW, this particular way of looking at objects is very fruitful and 
has quite a bit of synergy with the "ma" approach that I've also 
advocated over the years ....
