Well, there's Michael's Jabber package - with a suitably configured 
Jabber server, this will bridge you to the AIM/ICQ network (which is 
what IWIN supports), as well as to MSN, etc.  And Jabber is a more 
open, extensible protocol, yada yada yada.

I just tried loading IWIN in 3.6, but ran into AlignmentMorph problems 
and didn't pursue it further.
