Stephane, I completely agree with you that the tests should not be hidden
away. But to answer your specific question, every Squeak class should not
have a companion testcase class.
This is because the tests should be in the classes themselves. The classes
should also be able to test themselves, but that is another issue (albeit
not an orthogonal one).
