Hi all.
Who is in charge of www.squeak.org? Could I make a small, barely audible
plea (as a lurker and newbie) to have that site made a bit more fancy.
As far as I can tell (or remember), the front page hasn't changed much
for a looong time.
My biggest complaint would be that the swiki is too hard to find. It
should really be a direct link from the front page. I would almost
prefer that http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak be the "official" squeak
page - it's simple with all the information that's really useful... for
me at least.
Python's front page (www.python.org) isn't too bad, but I don't like the
asthetics. Ruby has a pretty good website -
http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/, which has a clear and logical layout.
There's also quite a few really old links - e.g. "Where is Squeak
headed?" with a link to "Where we were headed in 2000" and a Work in
Progress page.
