I did this in both a 3.6b and 3.5 image successfully.
Does this work for you?

* get an ellipse from the Supplies flap
* get a Holder from the Supplies flap
* bring up the ellipse's viewer
* pull out the phrase "Ellipse look like dot" to make a new script
* bring up the holder's viewer
* pull out the phrase "holder's cursor <= 1" from the viewer and drop 
on the script
* pull out the phrase "holder's playerAtCursor" and drop over the 
"dot" in the script
* use the arrows to make the second line read "holder's cursor 
increase by 1"
