Incidentally, while it wouldn't help with the Smalltalk interpreter, a C
compiler or interpreter would be very nice to have.  In particular, it
would let us emulate in Squeak almost all of the other software in the
world.  That's one giant step towards letting Squeak work as the top
half of an operating system.
