Sure. Moving the OB package browser from PackageInfo to a real Package would be
fairly simple, I expect.

I would also like to see a true Package in the 3.8 release. The OB package
browser is noticibly slower than the image browser, owing to all the searching
that PackageInfo does to figure out what belongs in the package and what
doesn't.
