Yes, what I discovered was
Feynman48kHz.mpg movie is 1:39.23 minutes long.
However in playback using Quicktime, I saw that about at 1:20 minutes
the screen goes blank,
then at 1.30 the image is restored, but no sound and it plays another 9
secondsuntil the end.
Now if I fallback to the original video player method I wrote when we
introduced the plugin
I can play the entire movie. However it exhibits the behavior I saw in
Quicktime.

So. Is the tool you are using to rip the MPEG limiting you to 120
seconds of Audio?
Lastly the MPEG morphic player only runs until the end of the audio
track, and
mpegFile videoFrames: 0 -> 1761 frames total in the mpeg?
Yet (60+39.23)*29.97 -> 2974 frames
Mmm, so as Ned points out it's tied to the sound track.
