Multiple OS Windows for Squeak?

Hi Peter,

Could you list some example applications that use multiple simultaneous OS
windows? Most of the applications I use regularly are mostly one window
applications except for the occasional (usually modal) dialog box.

The only one I can think of readily is MS Outlook, and the common case is
one window per open e-mail. This could be considered as multiple
instances of an e-mail viewer/editor program running at once though.

I guess my main point is that you can probably accomplish something very
similar to a true multiple OS window VM without having to do *any* VM
hacking at all - just some creative application of the existing
technology.

Interesting suggestion.

The point is to support a number of Use Case Scenarios that have the
characteristics of running in ONE image with mutliple OS Windows. It's not
just multiple projects, it's also single applications with multiple os
windows as this is the way that most applicaitons in Windows, KDE, GNOME,
Mac OSX work.

Cheers,

All the best,
