Squeak 3.6 Full version - character ^ not working

If you mean that when you press "^" you get a funny up arrow, and when you press "_" you get an arrow pointing to the left, then the character still works - Squeak just renders it differently. If you sent a mail containing "^" or "_" from within Squeak, say as a bug report, they'll appear as normal in the sent email if you read the mail from another machine. In the other direction, if you have a file called arb_file_name.txt and you open a FileList, you'll see something like "arb<-file<-name.txt" instead, as Squeak renders the "_" as a left arrow.

It does strike newcomers as strange. (Well, it _still_ strikes me as strange, but anyway :) )
