SVG does not seem to be very well supported on Windows Browsers yet, the 
same goes for MathML. There are plugins for some browsers, eg MS IE, but you 
cannot really rely or expect most users to have plugins installed.

Shame, particularly about MathML as even the plugins donot support it 
properly, in particular computer science related mathmatical constructs.
