I don't know why I'm not just forwarding David's email to
Squeak-dev^^; but anyway...

  A conference called "The Third International Conference on Creating,
Connecting and Collaborating through Computing" (C5) will be held in
Kyoto on January 28th and 29th.  Many researchers and educators around
the world will get together and present and discuss their work.

  Also, there is another event called C4.  This will be primarily for
(Japanese) educators, but it will be interesting because Prof. Seymour
Papert will be giving keynote speech.
