You're right. SqueakMap is a catalog - in that sense it's a repository of package info. (Of course, packages have versions, so is SqueakMap also a package versioning system? *g*) You can, however, use your SqueakMap account to store code (like Tom Koenig & I with BFAV), so you can also use it as a code repository.
