After beginning to review 3.8 I am starting to see a pattern:

The frequency of which Alan Grimes (myself) uses a given feature is 
__inversely__ proportional to the probability that it will be available 
in the next release...

In this case: WHERE THE HELL ARE THE SIDE FLAPS? I CAN'T EVEN OPEN A 
BLOODY WORKSPACE WITHOUT THEM!!! I only used them say half a dozen times 
each and every squeak session...
