Well, I *thought* I fixed that (and I even tested upgrading from an 
older version) but I guess I didn't catch all the cases.

Anyway, rather than the snippet below, which will wipe all your 
ancestry info, use
MCWorkingCopy updateInstVars

and see if that helps.
