As Chris said, Magma seems to work smoothly with the 3.5 VM, at least 
all my simple tests worked fine so far.
So the problem of the fix that never made it to the 3.6VM must be real.
What are the most important drawbacks of using the 3.5 versus the 3.6 VM ?
