I just reported a bug that I encountered trying to upgrade the squeak 
map on a 3.6 image. I'm not sure if it's related to the new SM Package 
Loader you're referring to, but perhaps you could scan the stack trace 
and see if it's relevant.

On a related note, which version of Squeak does the community generally 
use? Is 3.7 close enough to "production" that it is the primary 
development focus? Please enlighten.
