I guess I found the answer myself. The font is ment to draw multiple
notes on top of each other. If I use the font in OpenOffice I have to
press space after each note. This seems to result in "nothing at all"
in squeak. 

There is another font MusiSync that does not draw things on each other
and it displays just fine.
