Your image works as advertised, thankyou.

I went back and re-upgraded from a downloaded 5764 image and was able to
duplicate my previous result.

I'm going to write this one off to the world wide wierd and move on.

The downloaded 5816 image gives an empty package loaded while Masashi's and
my upgraded images run it just fine.
