...while your at it, the word-alignment in the menus with icons (e.g. 
the background menu thingy) could be improved a bit.

Normally when you have a menu with icons, there is a blank space for 
menu items without icons, so that all the menu item names are nicely 
left-aligned with each other.

I'd do it myself, but I don't have my own computer at the moment :-).
