Hmmm, I use 1.1.3 and have checked out both using a Debian box and my
Lunar box.
Have you checked out any other Subversion repo? Just to see if it is
only the Squeak repo that has troubles?

On a sidenote I guess we should skip the "platforms" dir at the end, it
is probably better to checkout trunk:

	svn co http://squeak.hpl.hp.com/svn/squeak/trunk

Just tried that now again and it worked.
