I was afraid of that, yes... ;)

Yup, very much so.

Indeed. On IRC, Goran commented about this as well. Personally, I think
that it'd be fine if we make *some* cut. It doesn't need to be final,
beyond dispute, whatever. Just let us draw a proposed border that seems
reasonable and see what everybody thinks. When we have to
loadable/unloadable packages, fine-tuning the cut will be very easy and
can be done by incremental changes (in other words "regular boring work").

Get people from SqueakLand to do that bit? I can grab a tile and toy with
it, but I'm hardly aware of all of EToys. I think we need one or two
specialists for this...

I'm on the 'ui' list as well, that discusses these topics. One of the
items on my tiny todo list is to make wxSqueak use ToolBuilder. Or do you
mean something bigger than that by 'Abstract UI'? (/me always gets itches
when hearing the word 'Abstract' ;)).

Anyway, to support due process:
- Dan, welcome aboard!
- I will exercise my (and the team members') patience by allowing one more
day for people to raise their objections against the Team's proposed
activities (and the end result, having the Team's work in the image some
time this summer). Tomorrownight I'll setup the mailing list and then we
can start hashing out the best strategy to tackle this thing.

John: if you'd like to advise us around on this project, please shout and
I'll add you to the mailing list.

Regards,

Cees
