I on OS X and using several images and VM combination from John ( and some
others Unix VM also.
And in others 3.8 (or 3.9) this not happen.
So if you have normal behavior , I check what I do to original image
downloaded from server, perhaps my fault.
I send why I believe do nothing related to network , sorry by troubles.
