If anything doesn't make anything not easy here, it's Squeak. There's
a lot to improve in the UI (still, there's also a lot better than
'regular' UIs, but sadly enough it takes a bit of time to get that...

Are you sure? You can "Browse" MC files from the MC user interface, it
shows exactly what it is supposed to add/change/override.
