The project is Ariethfa Ffenestri ('platform windows' in Welsh) and
the very low-level infrastructure was written by John & I last year.
The VM side is done and tested for OSX and RISC OS but not for
windows or unix. It provides primitives to create, move, size, hid,
delete and display in host windows. There is a lot more to do to make
it fully integrated and probably some changes will be made as we
discover the needs of windows/unix.

I'm puzzled; I understood that MDI had been deprecated even by m$ for
years. Why would you want to use such a poor UI idea?
