While doing a load MC spends almost 40% of the time investigating method
timestamps, which seems to be costly because they have to be looked up
in sources and changes files. I speculate that peephole optimizing this
by having the timestamp be a method annotation instead could work
especially to the benefit of MC loading times. No?
