thanks for the links about the Analyst. Jerry Pournelle is fond of
saying that "what man has achieved, man can aspire to". But sometimes we
can get stuck in Dark Ages and do nothing more than look back in wonder

thanks for your detailed comments. I agree you can get great results by
mostly using what we already have. Certainly using the eToys tiles
infrastructure to make entering "equations" easily is a good example.
