I can confirm that. That repository

	http://squeakland.org/installers/ux/debian/

has following problems:

1. package `squeak-vm' requires `libc6' version which is not available
on Sarge (Debian stable) so it cannot be installed on Sarge.

2. package `squeak' depends on virtual package `squeak-image-gz' but the
repository does not contain package which would provide
`squeak-image-gz' virtual package.

So at least in case of Debian, those download links are useless. Do
owners of that page know that? Additionally:

3. there is a newer version of virtual machine (3.9) and the repository
contains older (3.7) one.

Anyhow, here

	http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak/3616

are Debian packages which work on

	Sarge (Debian stable)
	Etch (Debian testing)

Those packages were created without heed to Knoppix but if Knoppix is
derived from Etch (Debian testing), they could perhaps work for you. If
you try them, please let me know.

PS: the icon is OK.

Thanks
