I think that you can work on SqueakLight only but this will not help  
Squeak in general.
If we can find a way so that your changes repackaging get in the  
standard distribution
everybody will benefit from it. I really like the idea of SqueakLight  
and also the effort
that Pavel did. Now we should find a way to build on them. And  
packaging is the way to
go but for that we need people to help.
