3.9a-7006: ":=" replaced by "_"

I thought there was a fix to make underscore "_" and
left-arrow assignment distinct.

Will replacing all left-arrow assignment with := cause
hundreds of methods to lose their original
timestamp/author information?  If so, is that worth
this cosmetic change?
